Definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result -- so I am officially insane -- trying to figure it out throughout the day 😂 There is little I want in the rewards; no plan to play match 3. I will do regatta, spend more time in my garden and find another game next winter.

I just find the game continues to get more boring and so far away from why I downloaded it. I don’t play as much so I don’t have as many coins anymore, so buying land expansions takes ages. And then when I do they take like 4 days now. Used to love arranging my town and making nice housing areas and buying the decorations etc. Or making new items in the factories etc. I could put up with the Match 3 if it lead to things to improve my town. Haven’t found another game I like though and feel I’ve invested so much time to just give up. They must be making enough money to ignore the mood music though as on social media you see everyone saying the same as us! But they continue to ignore it. So whatever they’re doing must be working financially for them…

@Taneets how many years have you been playing? Set up a deco section near your town sign so friends can see your decorations when they visit. There are a lot of inexpensive seasonal decorations that you can store for next year. When a new regatta starts, I go through my saved decos and put out anything that relates to the "theme",

I've been reading and posting on the fb page of Township as well and I think playtricks are serenely uninterested in feedback. They never comment on it and they never react to it. If you offer feedback directly through the feedback channels you receive a pre-fabricated message that it has been "forwarded" but you don't receive a comment either. I think when they're asking in-game it's just a ruse to pretend they're interested. The only thing they are interested in is money.

@Josef D. Someone, who is not a regular poster, explained as a game is winding down and earning less, departments will be eliminated to cut costs. Aspects of the game will be removed.

Without daily tasks, I like not having so much to do when I first get up in the morning. The rewards are not worth playing towards. I kept track through the years of number of friends buying gold pass. There was a significant reduction for Ballroom Adventure which continued with Fashion Pass. Hopefully reduction in money will wake up Playtricks.

Maybe it's "winding down", @Neighbor Jane - but in this case they must check why it's winding down. Playtricks however is doing all to wind down the game even faster. Like, they made the groups in the Mayor's Cup much bigger and now a considerable number of people don't make it into the prize ranks any more. Nayor's Cup was a safe way to get some prizes. It's not any more.

@Neighbor Jane That's exactly what they are doing. They're trying way too hard to make as much money as possible and by doing so they are destroying the game. I've been playing for 5 years and too much has changed to the worse since.
