Aerial Challenge Event

June 26 ~ July 3, 2020

Aerial Challenge IntroductionEdit

Aerial Challenge is a regular event in Township. In this event you fly planes and collect parts to upgrade your plane. Once your plane is upgraded it can fly for longer. Make airplane fuel in the event's fuel factory using goods produced by your town. The fuel factory is located next to the event centre.

Becky

Professor, the flying tournament is about to start! Is your experimental plane ready for new challenges?

Of course, Becky! I've even opened the fuel factory and filled the tank. But if you find some parts for me, I can make the plane even better!
Then let's get ready to set records and win prizes!

Aerial Challenge Event GuideEdit

Become the best pilot by setting a flight distance record. Fill the tanks with experimental fuel to take off. Collect points and upgrade your plane. Win some breathtaking rewards!

  • 1. Choose the trajectory to start that is highest and earns the most stars.
  • 2. Collect batteries while flying to increase power to fly longer.
  • 3. Produce 6-12 fuel at the Fuel Factory every 30 minutes.
  • 4. Collect parts on the ground or in the air to upgrade your plane.
  • 5. Race with others to try and get the furthest distance to earn prizes.
  • 6. Reward screen with stars collected, distance, and parts earned.

Aerial Challenge Event TipsEdit

General TipsEdit

Here are some tips and tricks you might find helpful:

  • Don't fly too high up. Try maintaining a low-altitude trajectory to collect as many accelerators, magnets, and plane parts as you can.
  • More fuel will appear in a cluster if you reach a further distance, usually after 1500 ft.
  • Frequent short taps are more effective than tapping-and-holding.

Airplane Upgrade TipsEdit

Upgrading your plane with parts allows it to fly for longer distances. Upgrade parts can be collected in the air or on the ground. The number of parts required for each upgrade increases with every upgrade. After the 5th and 9th upgrades, the visual appearance of the plane changes. The 10th+ upgrade will add a star and restart with a yellow bar.

Recommended upgrade order: fuselage > propeller > wings > chassis > slingshot

Upgrades Description Upgrade Recommded Upgrades and Tips
Wings The plane will descend slower 3rd The plane requires less energy to stay in the air.
Chassis The plane taxi's farther after landing 4th You can get 1-4 more upgrade parts with chassis each game.
Propeller The accelerator, used to increase altitude, will work longer 2nd More acceleration and higher altitude allows your plane to fly further.
Fuselage Radius in which bonuses are collected during flight increases 1st Bigger item pickup radius means more fuel, parts and stars!
Slingshot Increases takeoff speed 5th Greater initial speed means the plane can travel further.
