Tokens do not expire, so you can save them up by completing tasks in any season.
The maximum amount of tokens you can hold at once is 2,000. You may get a warning message when taking a task that would get you above the limit of 2,000 tokens (see an image below).
At the end of the event if you place in the top 3 and receive extra tokens, you will not exceed 2,000.

You can spend tokens on items in the current season, or you can wait until the next season if the current items are not to your taste.
You can buy as many item as long as there is quantity left.
Quantities range from 2 (Boosters and coupons) to 8 (Match-3 power-ups).
If you leave your co-op, you take your tokens with you.

Regatta Store Items[]
There are 12 items in the Regatta Store:
The first 4 items are available for Wooden League or above (ie all players)
Items 5 and 6: Copper League and above
Items 7 and 8: Steel League and above
Items 9 and 10: Silver League and above
Items 11 and 12: Golden League only
Materials[]
All players, regardless of levels, are offered the same set of items in a regatta season. If the players haven't restored the mine yet, the mining tool offer(s) will be greyed out.
